Equity bank has partnered with Orange Kenya to allow its customers buy any of the Orange products that are sold at Orange retail shops country wide. From the agreement, equity bank will offer a loan facility to its customers ranging from as low as Kshs.1,000 with a repayment period of 1 day to 12 months. This offer is available to customers with bank accounts at equity bank, or those who are going to open accounts with equity bank.

 Equity bank customers can now own their dream laptop computers and mobile phones through the loan facility. Technology in Africa has reached to points where owning a laptop is no longer seen as a luxury but a necessity. Today’s world demands having a laptop computer or a pc; from job seekers to students, a personal computer is necessary to accomplish both interests.
·        In order to utilize this offer, equity bank customers can walk into any of Orange Kenya retail shops country wide and identify their product of interest. These products range from laptops, broadband modems, mobile phones and other accessories.
·        The customers shall then be issued with a quotation from the shop of the selected products for purchase. He shall then proceed to equity bank for the loan facility. The customer will be required to present the quotation given to equity bank and apply for the loan. Customers without bank account at equity will be required to open one.
·        Equity bank shall then proceed to process the loan application and contact the applicant confirming the approval of the loan.
·        Upon approval, the applicant will go back to the Orange Kenya retail shop where he identified products of interest.
The customer will be required to present the following documents at the Orange Kenya retail shop;
·         Original ID or a Valid passport and a Certified copy of either

·          The offer approval letter from Equity Bank
After verification of the applicant’s loan status by the shop attendant, the customer shall be issued with an invoice and the items that were approved in the approved quotation.
