Bharti Airtel Kenya Mobile Broad Band Internet Data Bundle Prices
Bharti Airtel Kenya has unveiled a variety of broad band internet data bundle rates designed to attract different categories of internet users. Airtel intents to introduce 3G services, a move likely to intensify competition among mobile service providers of which already are slashing charges on voice calls to have a competitive advantage. Reduced revenues from voice has led to mobile service providers put more emphasis on data to capture the growing market. This data bundles are further divided between postpaid and prepaid plans.
- Prepaid internet bundles that have no expiry date,
- Unlimited prepaid internet plan that ranges from 1day to 30days,
- Unlimited post paid plans for 24hrs per day,
- Unlimited postpaid plans for only nights and weekends
- post paid internet bundles with no expiry date
There are two categories in the Airtel prepaid data bundle plans,

c) Subscribe for 100mb data bundle @ kshs 100

f) Subscribe for 2gb data bundle @ kshs 1,000
To subscribe for the above Airtel data bundle plans, dial *111# from your mobile phone or go to the Airtel menu on your modem and select your preferred data bundle plan.

b) Subscribe for unlimited 7 days data bundle @ kshs 300
c) Subscribe for unlimited 10 days data bundle @ kshs 1,250
d) Subscribe for unlimited 20 days data bundle @ kshs 2,250
e) Subscribe for unlimited 30 days data bundle @ kshs 3,250
To subscribe for the above Airtel data bundle plans, dial *111# from your mobile phone or go to the Airtel menu on your modem and select your preferred data bundle plan.
For post paid customers,

- One month subscription @ kshs 2,995 per month;
You will be required to give a refundable deposit of kshs 5,000 for a 12 months contract. In addition, you will receive a free Airtel modem after signing up at any Airtel centre countrywide.

You will be required to give a refundable deposit of kshs 2,000 for a 12 months contract. In addition, you will receive a free Airtel modem after signing up at any Airtel centre countrywide. Night time, applies from monday through friday, 7pm to 7am while saturdays, sundays & public holidays, applies all day & night,
The normal pay as you plan remains at kshs 7 per mb
Bharti Airtel modem costs kshs 1,700 and comes with 25mb worth of free data.

the prepaid bundles have an expiry date to them and they actualy expire in less than a month. There is clarification needed
ReplyDeleteIt all depends on usage. The expiry date is only important if you use less bundles per month, heavy consumers will run out of bundles before the month ends hence expiration is least important.

ReplyDeleteThe prepaid bundles only last for 7days before they expire. It has been so for over two months now.

ReplyDeleteso since we have confirmed that the prepaid bundles expire, who out there knows how long do they last for each bundle since airtel are too lazy or dont care to update their website and/or social media pages
